By creating an online store on our website, Commercial Van Interiors is making a huge step into new territory for ourselves, our industry , and perhaps most importantly - our customers! In keeping with the times, we are now cautiously offering our products through this medium. At the same time, we'd like to emphasize the importance of the proper installation of these products in the customer's overall satisfaction and safety - and the fact that many of our products are not necessarily well suited for DIY installations.
Many products require specialized tooling, training and expertise to ensure a clean, secure and safe installation. Our experience is that installs by non-professionals often have a host of problems that range from taking much longer to actually install... to voiding the manufacturer’s warranties... to potentially damaging the vehicle... to risking the most precious cargo in the vehicle... its passengers!
As a result, we've created a unique "Degree of Difficulty" rating system for most products we offer on our website. You will see a small icon on almost every item we sell with an image of a wrench and a number that corresponds to the level of skill needed to ensure a quality installation of the product.
Please pay attention to this as you consider purchasing an item from this, or any other, website. Even for the most mechanically inclined, we still recommend that all equipment installations be performed by a professional (and ideally certified) technician.
